Markland Fitness specializes in 1 on 1 exercise training in the Markland Wood area of central Etobicoke, in the west end of Toronto. Run by Certified Personal Trainer, Michael Kurup, clients can expect personalized health plans and supervised exercise sessions at a fraction of the prices charged at corporate gyms.
Michael was first certified as a Personal Trainer in 2003 and has worked with everyone from 9 year old athletes to 70 year old grandmothers, guiding each individual on their journey toward their health goals. To each 1 on 1 session, Michael brings the knowledge of an industry veteran, the measured approach of a carpenter, the patience of a teacher and his unique way of bringing the self-motivator out of each individual client without ever needing to raise his voice.
In addition to his work as a personal trainer, Michael is a published health and fitness writer, a group fitness instructor, and wellness speaker/presenter.
